Strategic Senior Manager
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. We are seeking a Strategic Senior Manager to join our Cloud Solutions Business Area within the Federal Health Division, supporting complex cloud modernization initiatives while ensuring excellence in daytoday operational delivery. In this role, you will support growth through capture, proposal development, and salesenablement activities while also driving cloud strategy execution, modernization planning, and organizational readiness. You will be part of a highimpact organization helping evolve and scale GDITs cloud portfolio.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Engaging with cross functional technical and business teams to advance cloud strategy, modernization roadmaps, and implementation planningOverseeing daily operations for the Cloud Solutions Business Area, ensuring effective program execution, issue resolution, and performance tracking (approximately 50% workload)Supporting business development and capture efforts (approximately 50% workload), including opportunity shaping, proposal input, color team participation, and development of staffing plansInitiating and managing job requisitions for key personnel aligned to capture and delivery needsAdministering and maintaining relevant SharePoint sites to ensure documentation integrity, collaboration access, and functional structure for B&P and operational workflowsProviding executive level briefings, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support decision making and growth of the cloud portfolioWHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, IT Management) or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experienceRequired Experience: 5 + years of experience leading complex IT, cloud, or modernization programsRequired Technical Skills: Ability to manage competing priorities across operational delivery and business development; Strong understanding of capture processes, proposal development, and federal acquisition lifecycle; Demonstrated expertise in cloud strategy, modernization initiatives, and enterprise cloud transformation (AWS, Azure, or multi cloud); Experience with program management, P&L accountability, organizational leadership, and executive communication; Familiarity with Agile transformation, DevSecOps and modernization methodologies; Experience building or managing SharePoint sites in support of program or B&P activitiesAttributes for Success: Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable plans; Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail; Collaborative, people centric leadership style; Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment; Excellent communication and relationship building abilitiesPreferred Skills: 10+ years experience and a related certification (i.e. PMP, ITIL, etc.); Experience with managing teams; Familiarity with cloud migration toolingLocation: 100% remote workingTravel: Must be willing to travel to the Falls Church, VA area and visit other customer sites around the DMV areaSecurity Clearance Level: Must be clearable for a Public Trust -Applicants shall have lived in the United States at least 3 out of the last 5 years prior to going through the public trust background investigation and submitting an application for a Federal ID CardWork Visa will not be considered for this position GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.Growth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunitiesSupport: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goalsRewards: Comprehensive benefits and wellness packages, 401K with company match, and competitive pay and paid time offCommunity: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplace #GDITFedHealthJobs #GDITPriority #GDITHealthSystems
